The Observatory predicts that a cooler northeast monsoon will affect the coast of Guangdong on Labor Day tomorrow (May 1), and the area will be quite windy, and the high-altitude disturbance will be the northern part of the South China Sea tomorrow and next Monday (May 2). According to the Observatory's nine-day weather forecast, it is expected to be cloudy with showers tomorrow and next Monday. The temperature in the urban area tomorrow will be as low as 20 degrees Celsius, which is 10 degrees lower than the predicted maximum temperature of 30 degrees today.
The Observatory is also expected to turn cooler next Monday, with the temperature falling below the "2 prefix" to only 19 degrees, and Taguling may even reach 16 degrees.

Yesterday, the Observatory issued a hot weather warning, breaking the record for the earliest in the past year. The highest temperature recorded by the Observatory yesterday was 32 degrees, which also set a new record for this year.

The Observatory said that an easterly airflow with a fresh to strong wind level is affecting the coast of Guangdong, and the associated cloud and rain belt also covers the area and the northern part of the South China Sea.
Hong Kong is forecast to be mostly cloudy today with a few showers; moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasional strong winds offshore, and gradually turning northeasterly tonight, with more frequent showers.
Looking forward to the next one or two days, there will be showers in Hong Kong and the wind will be quite strong.
