The customs will establish its service of origin and "made in France" (Somif) in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), from this Monday, May 2.
“Competent throughout the national territory and with six specialized agents, it will issue decisions and information to companies, for the purposes of marking the origin or optimal use of commercial agreements”,
underlines Bercy.
These missions, which are a valuable tool for companies, are currently carried out by the General Directorate of Customs in Île-de-France.
