The head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed that the Saudi regime obstructs any steps that lead to the success of the truce announced by the United Nations, during which it committed to the entry of fuel ships to the ports of Hodeidah and the smooth running of flights from Sanaa airport.

Al-Mashat said in today's speech on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr: "After the expiry of half the period, the armistice has not made any progress in its most important provisions related to alleviating the great suffering of the Yemeni people," noting that despite the concessions made by the Yemeni government to demonstrate its keenness on peace, it was met with intransigence, procrastination and lack of response from Before the Saudi regime and those behind it.

Al-Mashat explained that the countries of aggression imposed many criminal measures that led to an increase in transportation costs, food and pharmaceutical prices, and many repercussions, and that, in cooperation with their mercenaries, they control the sources of Yemeni oil and gas resources, as they looted more than 129 million barrels of crude oil, with an estimated value of more than seven billion. dollar.

Al-Mashat called on the Yemeni people and the concerned authorities to cultivate every land and provide agricultural production inputs at the lowest cost.

On the second of last April, the United Nations announced a humanitarian truce for two months in Yemen, according to which military operations would stop, with the opening of Sana’a International Airport for a number of flights, and the opening of the Hodeidah port in front of oil derivatives ships.
