The president called tonight (Sunday) to congratulate the United Arab Emirates' heir, the king of Bahrain and the head of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In their conversation, Herzog wished Abu Mazen peace and stability in the region.
This is the first conversation the two have had since the escalation began.
Herzog spoke with the de facto UAE ruler, Regent Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed;
With the King of Bahrain, Hamed bin Issa al-Khalifa;
And with the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, Abu Mazen, and congratulated them on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the month of Ramadan.

The president wished in talks with the leaders for peace and stability in the region.
In the coming days, the president is expected to hold talks with other leaders.
