After Peggy Jerofke and Steff Jerkel had to postpone the opening of their store "Martiki" in Mallorca, a new date seems to have been found.

On April 20th it should be ready.

But the construction work in front of the restaurant of the "Goodbye Germany" emigrants still does not seem to be complete.

Mallorca - Great news for all fans of "Goodbye Germany" (all news on the topic page): Peggy Jerofke and Steff Jerkel will reopen their restaurant in Cala Ratjada-Mallorca next weekend.

But the construction work in front of her restaurant still seems to be in full swing.

After the last two seasons were rather sluggish due to the Corona crisis and many restaurateurs had to close their restaurants and bars, Peggy Jerofke and Steff Jerkel are about to make a new start.

The door of their restaurant "Martiki" should already open on Saturday.

But as Peggy revealed on her Instagram account on April 12, construction work is still underway in front of her store.

And not everything seems to be ready in the premises either.

Peggy Jerofke gives an update from the construction site in front of her restaurant

"It still looks like this in front of our door," Peggy Jerofke reported on Instagram on April 12 and showed the current status of the road construction work in front of her restaurant.

Then she adds: "We have zero, zero opportunity to open here, because here the whole street has to be poured."

Since the work has been stopped for the time being over Easter and the emigrant couple does not have enough seating within the restaurant to make it worthwhile to open, they have already had to postpone their opening.

On Saturday, April 30th, it should finally be as far as “Goodbye Germany” reveals on Instagram (the dream burst for these “Goodbye Germany” stars).

"At the weekend, the restaurateur couple will finally start the 2022 season!

The license for the new terrace has arrived and after months of waiting, Peggy and Steff can finally reopen on Saturday.

Even if the construction work in front of the "Martiki" will continue for a while, the couple is looking forward to welcoming guests to their restaurant again!

", it says on the Instagram page of "Goodbye Germany".

But being able to actually open the restaurant on Saturday seems to pose a great challenge for the two of them.

Because a number of shortcomings still keep the TV couple in suspense.

"New things installed, they don't work again.

Then there is no water pressure, then they cannot do this and that.

All this fuss - yes, I hope now that we can do it by Saturday.

All the furniture will definitely come tomorrow," Peggy announced on Instagram.
