The Hungarian Prime Minister's Office revealed that nine European countries have undisclosedly opened accounts in the Russian Bank to pay for natural gas in rubles, while Hungary openly opened an account in the Russian Bank in rubles for the same thing.
"Hungary has opened an account in the euro, to which the price of gas is converted, and then the bank converts it to the ruble, and in addition to us, there are nine other countries that do this, but they do not announce," noting that the European Union did not Adopts any sanctions that make it impossible to pay for Russian gas in rubles.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto had announced earlier that his country would pay for the Russian gas supplied to it based on the mechanism proposed by Moscow, stressing that Russian gas supplies to Hungary through Bulgaria are carried out naturally.
