After pyrotechnics were ignited again within the demonstration, the Hamburg police stopped the elevator.
There are now occasional scuffles between the police and the black block.

The demo in Wilhelmsburg, which started at 6 p.m. under the motto “Forbidden Good – Anarchism on the Offensive”, seems to have potential for escalation.
The leaders of the demonstration, the Black Bloc, protected themselves from the police's gaze with umbrellas.

Around 5:30 p.m. the police briefly stopped the demo.
But after a short moment it went on.
The participants had stretched ropes around the individual blocks.
But this shouldn't be the case.
After a brief conversation with the police, the ropes were removed and the elevator was allowed to continue.
Shortly thereafter, the demo arrived at the Bürgerweide.
Downtown traffic is congested.
Two water cannons are now driving in front of the demo.

The Hamburg police are now preparing for the first demonstrations in Hamburg.
On April 30, 2022, at the start of Walpurgis Night, around 500 people had already gathered at the Sternschanze S-Bahn station.
Together they "ringed in" the Walpurgis Night and organized a "class festival".
