Minister Meir Cohen decided to appoint Professor Yuval Elbashan as CEO of the National Insurance Institute

Albashan was appointed six months ago as head of the public committee to examine the salary conditions of Knesset members, but most of his previous experience is purely academic, and not managerial.

The two other candidates for the position were not notified that they were not selected

, a lawyer and professor of law, was appointed six months ago as head of the public committee to examine the salary conditions of Knesset members.
