The software has won the Ayalon Highway Center, where it will serve as the main planning tool for the "Fast to the City" project.
In addition, it was also selected in a tender for the transportation program in Jerusalem, where the software will be used as a tool for planning the transportation system, including light rail, buses and more.
The scope of these projects is estimated at more than NIS 3.5 billion.
The LISA traffic planning software is considered a long-standing and leading system in its field and is used by traffic engineers in many countries in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia.
According to the manufacturer, the system has advanced capabilities for planning the operation of traffic lights and testing them with a built-in simulation tool to optimize traffic at each intersection.
In addition, this system knows how to generate priority for public transportation, emergency and security vehicles, green wave planning and complex traffic light programs, which include pedestrian crossings as well as two-wheeled vehicles.
According to the company, the direct result of using this development tool is a significant and optimal improvement of traffic in the city and a reduction in air pollution by reducing waiting times and travel times.
