The "Alliance for the Forest", which is against the planned wind turbines in the Ebersberg Forest, is organizing a peace hike on Sunday, May 22nd: It's about much more than the energy transition.
District
- The "Alliance for the Forest" around the market Swabia ex-mayor Bernhard Winter rejects the forest as a location for wind turbines.
In it, people have come together who, according to their own statements, are supporters of wind energy, but do not want to touch the forest for it.
Exchange while hiking and talking together
On Sunday, May 22, the alliance is organizing a "peace hike" to the Anzinger Sauschütt, as Winter announced on Monday.
The goal is the Peace Beech, which was planted in May 1945 after the end of World War II in gratitude for the peace by the then forester and landlord of the Anzinger Sauschütt, Ludwig Neissendorfer.
"While hiking and talking to others, exchanging ideas about peace in the world, peace in our district, peace in the forest" - that is the aim of the event, says Winter.
From 10 a.m. on the peace hike, people will approach each other from two directions, one from Purfing in the west and one from Anzing in the north.
At 11 a.m., Deputy District Administrator Walter Brilmayer, Winter (thoughts on peace) and Forestry Director Heinz Utschig (“Who is the forest?”) will speak briefly at the Friedensbuche.
Gastronomy for a day in the Anzinger Sauschütt
On this day, gastronomic life returns to the Anzinger Sauschütt: the Markt Schwabener brewery Schweiger and the innkeeper of the Schweiger brewery provide drinks and a small meal.
