This is not something that happens automatically, as the various airlines in the world take certain steps that you usually do not pay attention to in order to make you feel calm.
In fact, every major airline employs a specialist whose job is to produce the song list of the time spent on the plane from the moment of takeoff until landing.
David Scotland, one of those experts, spoke to the Washington Post to explain what was behind the playlists.
According to Scotland, Alaska Airlines' entertainment and connectivity product manager, it is necessary to create a list that is not too quiet or noisy.
"We do not want the music to occupy the center of the stage at check-in for the flight, it should be pleasant music that completes the process," he said.
He also said that "music should be almost devoid of repetitive songs, as travelers tend to complain about it. We also avoid techno-pop music, classical music and familiar hits, but we do replace the music according to the seasons."

In fact, it turns out that there is music that is adapted to all seasons, so these questions will adapt themselves to the mental state of the passengers.
In winter, for example, the soundtrack will be cooler and less dancing, while in summer the music will convey more optimism.
Also, before the holidays the companies match the soundtrack to the holiday with their own familiar music.
Another airline that admits that it adapts the music to its character is Hawaii Airlines.
A company spokeswoman noted that the company "uses appropriate music that excites passengers ahead of their vacation".
Elisha Onishi explained: "With 'Hawaiian music' playing in the background, travelers automatically feel the spirit of God and get ready for their trip to Hawaii. We also play this music to islanders to make them feel like they are still on their vacation for a few more hours."
