After El Al, Arkia and Israir, the Egyptian airline "Air Cairo" will operate three flights a week to Sharm el-Sheikh, and will join the Israeli companies that already operate on the Ben Gurion Airport-Sharm route.
The company will operate the flights on its Airbus 320, which has about 170 seats on board.
Israeli airlines also operate aircraft of similar sizes to Sharm, narrow-body aircraft with a little less than 200 passengers.

From a review we conducted, the Israeli airline "Israir" currently offers the cheapest fares on flights to Sharm, the company offers round-trip airline tickets starting at $ 175, sample date: June 13-20, but we found more dates at similar prices.
At El Al and Arkia, the prices we found start at about $ 250 and at Air Cairo at about $ 300 for round-trip flights.
Tourism Minister Yoel Rezbozov, who was present at the inaugural flight, said: "Tourism is a bridgehead for the establishment of diplomatic ties between the countries. The historic peace agreement with Egypt, followed by the agreement with Jordan, and the Abraham agreements with the Gulf states. "Operating a flight line between Ben Gurion Airport and Sharm el-Sheikh is a good example of establishing these connections," the Minister of Tourism added.

The CEO of the Disneyhouse travel company, which represents Air Cairo in Israel, Hani Sobol, said that "operating the direct line between Israel and Sharm will allow tens of thousands of Israelis to go down and vacation in their all-time favorite place.
"We are seeing a lot of interest from Israelis who want to go on vacation in Sharm, and as seen, the first flight was filled to capacity with 170 Israelis and their families who went down to Sharm for vacation."
