A 25-year-old was arrested at Frankfurt Airport.
However, he does not have to go to prison.
Because he apparently has a generous friend.
Frankfurt – The police arrested a man who had gone into hiding at Frankfurt Airport.
The 25-year-old was therefore actually threatened with several months in prison.
But that didn't happen: an apparently generous friend came to his aid, as reported by fnp.de.
What exactly happened?
On Saturday (April 30), the federal police arrested a Romanian man at Frankfurt Airport.
He had just arrived from Bucharest.
The background to the arrest was the history of the 25-year-old: he had already been fined in the past for illegal trafficking in narcotics.
The man should pay 120 daily rates of 30 euros each, according to the court in January of this year.

Frankfurt Airport: Freund pays fine for 25-year-olds
However, the Romanian managed to avoid a four-month jail term, which should have been pending: After the arrest, a friend paid the outstanding fine, including the costs of the proceedings - a total of 4,444.50 euros - at a Mannheim police station.
The 25-year-old was allowed to continue his journey.
