It is here on the avenue des Garennes that, on Saturday, a serious accident between a car and a motorcycle cost the life of a woman.
A drama that the police officers of the judicial support group of the Guyancourt police station are trying to clarify, who are launching a call for witnesses on Monday.
Call for witnesses
The facts occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. on this busy axis, at the level of the bridge located just before the exit to the city center, towards the N 12. The accident involved a white Clio and a Suzuki brand motorcycle.
The crash occurred after emergency braking.
The pilot of the two-wheeler was seriously injured while his passenger lost her life.
Many witnesses on the spot
With a call for witnesses, the police hope to gather valuable information regarding the circumstances of the collision.
"Many witness motorists were on the spot," said the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Yvelines, which broadcast the call for witnesses on social networks.
