The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 57 civilians who left and were evacuated from buildings adjacent to the Azovstal plant over the past two days decided to stay in the Donetsk People's Republic.

"The day before yesterday, 46 civilians left the houses adjacent to Azovstal and decided to all remain in Donetsk," the ministry said in a statement today.

In its statement, the ministry indicated that the Russian army guarantees the safety of the humanitarian convoy with the evacuees from Azovstal to the territory controlled by Kyiv.
