Memorial Day events will open today (Tuesday) at 4:30 PM at Beit Yad LaBanim in Jerusalem, with a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Knesset Speaker Miki Levy. Israel and hostilities.

The main ceremony will be held tonight at the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem, in the presence of the bereaved families, President Yitzhak Herzog and Chief of Staff Lt. Col. Aviv Kochavi.

Tomorrow at 11:00, a two-minute memorial siren will be sounded throughout the country, followed by state memorial ceremonies in the 52 military cemeteries, memorial sites and educational institutions in the State of Israel.

Immediately after the memorial siren, the main ceremony will begin at the State Memorial Hall on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, in the presence of President Yitzhak Herzog, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Knesset Speaker Miki Levy.

At 13:00, a state memorial service for the victims of hostilities in Israel and abroad will be held, in the presence of President Yitzhak Herzog, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, President of the Supreme Court Esther Hayut and members of the victims' families, at the memorial site for victims of hostilities on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.

At 19:45, the state ceremony to close Memorial Day will take place, the bowed heads will be proudly erected - and the 74th Independence Day events of the State of Israel will open.
