A man in Tuen Mun suspected of jumping into the sea to commit suicide. Rescue workers launched a land-sea search, but have yet to find the victim.
The incident happened at about 8 pm today (1st), and the police received a report from a man who said that he had lost contact with his brother surnamed Li (45 years old) since the morning. Sending a photo of the beach at Ho Yat Street, Tuen Mun to relatives, friends and workers via WhatsApp, and leaving a suicide note, the reporter immediately rushed to find his brother, but only found a private car belonging to his brother's company, and the car was empty. And found a pair of slippers, suspected him to commit suicide by jumping into the sea, and called the police for help.
The police and fire services arrived at the scene, police officers from the mobile unit investigated along the coast, while the marine police vessel, fire boats and vessels of the Marine Department searched at sea.
The victim's family was on the shore waiting for news, looking worried.
