Sanaa-Sana

The head of the Yemeni national negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abd al-Salam, confirmed the end of the first month of the humanitarian truce that was reached under the auspices of the United Nations, without the countries of the Saudi aggression allowing any flight to Sanaa airport.

Al Masirah Net website quoted Abdul Salam as saying in a tweet to him today: The first month of the humanitarian truce ended without the forces of the Saudi aggression allowing any trip to Sanaa airport, in clear violation of what was agreed upon, pointing to the continuation of military violations and obstruction of ships’ arrival to the port of Hodeidah.

On the twenty-sixth of last month, Abd al-Salam held the countries of aggression fully responsible for their intransigence, disavowal and evasiveness, calling on the United Nations to carry out its duty in accordance with the agreement.

It is noteworthy that the humanitarian and military armistice agreement announced on the second of last April provides for the operation of two weekly commercial flights to Sanaa during the two months of the armistice.
