A new crime scene from Nuremberg ran on Sunday from ARD in the first.

Some incidents caused curious discussions about Franconia on Twitter.

Nuremberg - "Why?": That was the central question and also the title of the Franconian crime scene of May 1st.

The inspectors from Nuremberg were puzzled when they were looking for a motive.

After just 30 minutes, viewers on Twitter asked themselves a completely different question.

"What's going on in Franconia?

Don't they all have lightbulbs?” asks one user.

In fact, the first half hour of the crime scene took place at night or in dark rooms.

"Are they all energy savers in Franconia?" Another wants to know.

Not only the darkness of the recordings provides for lively discussion on the net.

The tone also seems to not suit some at all.

Scene of the crime from Franconia: viewers complain online about sound problems

"The crime scene sucks.

Everyone whispers and no one can turn on the light when the police come,” complained a user via Twitter during the episode.

Others see it similarly: "Unfortunately, I only understand half" or "I don't understand anything and I can't even blame it on a dialect" can also be read under the #crime scene hashtag.

Another speaks of a "cramp in the remote control finger from the constant loud/quiet pressing".

A user agrees: "It's annoying to always turn the TV up or down.

First mumble, mumble, then bang bang.” Another had to explain to his wife several times what was going on.

"Say the damn thing you're talking about.

My wife is asking 'What?!' for the 63rd time.

It doesn't work that way," he complains online.

Only the commissioners seem to have clearly understood the audience.

At least that's what several tweets say.

Twitter users outraged by the Franken crime scene: "Was the acoustician drunk?"

Some users also have the reason for the sound recordings ready: "The crime scene today is a hearing test," claims one.

However, he failed and had to turn on the subtitles.

"Was the acoustician drunk or is that a stylistic device today?" asks another.

After the end of the crime scene, ARD wants to know how the viewers liked it on their Twitter profile for the show.

Under the post, some comments again talk about “poor sound quality”.

"Hard to understand because so much was whispered and mumbled!" and "The sound engineer should be fired" can be read.

However, others seem to have liked the thriller very much, many give it a grade of 1 and 2.
