On Sunday, a firefighter, who was trying to extinguish a fire of pallets lit on the sidelines of the procession, was attacked by a demonstrator.

The firefighter was holding his water lance in the direction of the fire, rue Alexandre-Dumas, when the person concerned came to jostle him to prevent him from extinguishing the fire before striking him twice with her hand on his helmet.

The latter was wearing a backpack and a “street-medic” helmet, these volunteers who help the wounded during the demonstrations.

Anti-Vaccines and Insoumise

The 38-year-old woman was, according to our information, arrested on Sunday afternoon and then placed in police custody.

She is currently still with the police, her custody can extend up to 48 hours.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the respondent does not show great cooperation and is “

little talkative

”.

This same source confirms to us that she already has a criminal record for acts of violence in 2020 and 2021.

According to France Inter, the implicated would be a nurse who resigned last year following the implementation of the vaccination pass.

On social networks, she distinguished herself by sharing anti-vaccine publications or in support of the leader of France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
