At about 2 am today (May 3), a 12-year-old boy fell from the height of the "Star House" at No. 500 Tung Chau Street, Cheung Sha Wan, severely damaging the platform of the clubhouse in the downside-down building. The security guards alarmed and called the police.
The ambulancemen arrived and immediately sent the victim to Caritas Hospital for emergency treatment. At that time, he was dying. After arriving at the hospital for emergency treatment, he eventually died.
Police seized a suicide note at the scene, and the cause of the boy's death is to be determined after an autopsy.
