A Haushamer (80) was seriously injured when the burst compressed air hose from a compressor hit him in the face while working in his bicycle garage.
Hausham - An 80-year-old Haushamer was seriously injured early Tuesday afternoon when a burst compressed air hose from a compressor hit him in the face while working in his bicycle garage.
According to the police, the accident happened around 1:50 p.m. on Schmiedgasse and initially suggested that things were much worse: Because callers to the control center had reported an exploded compressor in a building, the fire brigades in Hausham, Agatharied, Miesbach and Schliersee and BRK, Ambulance and police triggered.
However, when they arrived on site, the emergency services quickly gave the all-clear.
They found the 80-year-old with a serious facial injury, whom they had taken to the hospital by helicopter for treatment.
However, the feared explosion never happened.
Apart from the 80-year-old, no one was injured.
Most of the emergency services quickly withdrew.
