The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the international community's abandonment of its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and its failure to fulfill its obligations has become a cover for the continuing racist violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.
In a statement reported by Wafa Agency today, the Foreign Ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, put pressure on the occupation, and take the necessary measures to stop its aggression and escalation against the Palestinian people and force them to abide by international law and the relevant United Nations resolutions.
The Foreign Ministry stated that the occupation forces escalated their attacks against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, razing large areas of Palestinian lands, uprooting hundreds of olive trees, and assaulting shepherds in Masafer Yatta and the villages of Duma and Kafr Malik, south of Hebron in the West Bank.
The occupation authorities practice organized terrorism against the Palestinian people and their sanctities and provide full support to settler groups to storm Al-Aqsa and carry out provocative tours in its courtyards as part of continuous attempts to Judaize it and change the historical and legal situation in the mosque within a scheme to Judaize the entire Holy City and displace Palestinian families from their homes and lands.
