Éric Dupond-Moretti is not a legislative candidate

His name was mentioned among the ministers tempted by the legislative elections.

But the Keeper of the Seals Éric Dupond-Moretti does not intend to seek a mandate as a deputy next June,

learned on Wednesday evening from concordant sources.

While press indiscretions announced his candidacy in the 15th district of the North, the minister did not seek nomination from those responsible for the majority.

He will not appear in the first list of candidates for the legislative elections, which the macronists are preparing to release by the end of the week.

“It made him smile to see that the rumors were going well in recent days to find out where he was going to land in Hauts-de-France”

Unless otherwise ordered from the Élysée by the close of nominations (May 20), Éric Dupond-Moretti will therefore not be in the running in the constituency today held by the ex-walker Jennifer de Temmerman.
