74th Independence Day: The main celebrations, ceremonies and events

The 74th Independence Day of the State of Israel opens tonight (Wednesday) with the beacon lighting ceremony on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, and will continue with traditional celebrations and events throughout the country.

The festivities will continue tomorrow, in the best tradition, at a number of hotspots across the country.

The Independence Day celebration will take place between 11: 00-09: 30 in the morning at the President's House, under the title "Boker Or Israeli", with the participation of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi and past and present generals. Outstanding Presidential Medal for 120 Outstanding Soldiers.

At 11:00, the World Bible Quiz Ceremony for Jewish Youth will open at the Jerusalem Theater, with 16 participants from around the world competing for the title of Bride and Groom of the World Bible Quiz.
