Beca Moore, a very popular young woman on the TikTok social network, traveled from Tennessee to California to attend the Coachella music festival, but on the third day her phone, credit cards and keys were stolen, she told the NBC station News in Los Angeles.
A Latino Uber driver saved her day, and she has changed his life.
After the robbery, a worker at the hotel where Moore was staying asked him for a car from the Uber service that Raúl Torres was driving.
“[Torres] helped me file a police report, bought me food, and stayed with me from 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon, until he found out that he would be able to return home with a new rental car,” Moore explained to local outlet News Channel 3.
"He took care of me all day without expecting anything in return," added the young woman.
The driver said that he was about to not accept the trip.
"I wasn't supposed to work anymore but I finally did," he said.
"I was glad to help her," he added about his performance after learning about the young woman's situation, "I couldn't leave her there, I didn't know anyone."

After filing the complaint with the police, the two went to eat.
That's when Moore knew he needed help, too: His daughter was diagnosed with cancer two years ago.
In fact, Torres traveled from Fresno to earn money for chemotherapy.
His father also suffered from cancer and passed away last Friday.
“You never know what people are going through,” Moore reflected.
The young woman decided to use her influence on social networks to draw attention to Torres' situation and help him raise money.
Her story has gone viral: she has over three million views on TikTok and almost half a million on Twitter.
