Received 242 food safety complaints in 3 years

According to a written reply by the Secretary for Food and Health, Sophia Chan, to a question from a Legislative Council member, from 2019 to 2021, the FEHD and the Customs and Excise Department received 9, 69 and 164 complaints on food safety respectively, with a total of 242 complaints, involving the Trade Descriptions Ordinance There were 17, 20 and 77 complaints respectively.
