A new earthquake, of magnitude 2.4, was recorded at 7:05 by Ingv in the province of Florence with its epicenter in Impruneta, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
During the night Ingv recorded a series of slight tremors, about ten with their epicenter in Impruneta except two in San Casciano, the largest of 1.6 in magnitude.
Yesterday, always with the epicenter Impruneta, shocks of 3.7, 3.4 were recorded.
Since yesterday afternoon, a series of earthquakes have taken place in the area.
The latest, of magnitude 3.4, was warned at 22.14 in Florence and in the province.
The Civil Protection of the Metropolitan City of Florence is monitoring the situation.
The quake with a magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale was recorded 4 kilometers south of Impruneta (FI) at a depth of 9000 meters.
The earthquake, according to what was communicated by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology which recorded its magnitude, occurred at 22:14 and was located at the geographical coordinates 43.6552 latitude, 11.2458 longitude.
At 22:19 a shock of 3.4 was felt and since then there have been another 8 shocks, the most significant of magnitude 2.7 was recorded at 11 pm
. Checks for any damage by civil protection are underway in Florence and in the province .
The checks concern the buildings and also the cultural heritage but at the moment no damage has been reported.

The president of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, wrote this on Telegram after the 3.7 earthquake in Impruneta, near Florence and distinctly felt in the Tuscan capital.
The work of the Regional Council of Tuscany, meeting in the hall, was suspended due to the strong earthquake felt in Florence.
Phone calls are reaching the switchboards of public authorities from citizens asking for information.
There would be no damage to monuments and museums in Florence after the 3.7 earthquake with its epicenter in Impruneta, near the Tuscan capital.
From what we have learned, the Uffizi Galleries, the Accademia Gallery and the Bargello were not evacuated after the quake.
From an initial check, there would be no damage to the dome of the Cathedral and more detailed checks will be carried out tomorrow.
