Nothing stands in the way of a trip to Germany's favorite holiday islands of Mallorca and Ibiza from Nuremberg.

Airport presents new flight routes.

Nuremberg - After the holidays are before the holidays.

Even if the Easter weeks are already history, Pentecost and a little later the summer holidays are just around the corner.

And finally you can travel freely again after almost surviving the corona pandemic.

Appropriately, there are now new flight routes at Nuremberg Airport to the Germans' favorite holiday islands.

Nuremberg Airport: Condor is now flying to Mallorca again

With Condor, one of the most popular holiday airlines is back at Nuremberg Airport.

According to a press release from Albrecht Dürer Airport, things started right on time for the start of the Easter holidays.

"Welcome back, Condor!", said the airline's airport manager, Dr.

Welcome Michael Horn.

Condor has around 50 aircraft stationed at the Nuremberg location.

With interruptions, Condor has been represented in Nuremberg since the 1970s and even deployed the legendary Condor-Boeings 747 jumbo jets “Max” and “Moritz” from here.

With the return of the holiday airline, the fleet of aircraft that head for the ultimate party island - Mallorca - has been increased once again.

Now that Ryanair has also pitched its tents in Nuremberg, the family of pilots continues to grow.

“With Ryanair, Eurowings, Corendon and now Condor, four airlines are taking off and together offering a capacity of around half a million seats for the summer of 2022.

In the high season from mid-May, up to 46 departures per week are planned.

Munich Airport: From summer three times a week to Ibiza

Mallorca's little sister island - Ibiza - is now also on the airport's menu.

According to Albrecht Dürer Airport, travelers from Nuremberg already missed the destination.

The wording: “Now the holiday airline Corendon Airlines is bringing the popular Balearic island back to the Nuremberg flight plan.

Mallorca's little sister island is now served twice a week.

This not only pleases party-hungry people, but also families looking for relaxation on the beach.”

From June, the offer will be increased even further.

Because Ryanair is also contributing another flight.

From June 7th, the Irish airline will also fly to Ibiza, so that three planes a week will head for the Balearic Islands in midsummer.
