The quarrel between Russia and Israel continues after the storm provoked by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, according to which "Hitler had Jewish blood."

This morning, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman accused Israeli mercenaries of collaborating with a battalion affiliated with neo-Nazis.

"I'm going to say something that Israeli politicians probably do not want to hear, but maybe it will interest them," spokeswoman Maria Zichrova said this morning (Wednesday) in an interview with the Russian news agency Sputnik.

"In Ukraine, Israeli mercenaries are on the side of armed with moss."

This is a battalion of volunteers in the Ukrainian army who in the Kremlin claim that its people are neo-Nazis.

This comes after Israel protested very sharply this week against the Foreign Minister's statement that "the regime in Ukraine is neo-Nazi", Lavrov also referred to allegations about Zalanski's Jewish origins.

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid responded by saying to Lavrov: "This is an unforgivable, scandalous statement, a terrible historical mistake and we expect an apology. The Russian ambassador will be summoned today for a difficult conversation. The Jews did not kill themselves in the Holocaust. My grandfather was not killed by the Nazis. "To say that Hitler was of Jewish descent is like saying that the Jews killed themselves in the Holocaust. In matters of the Holocaust, we have no forgiveness."

On Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the Israeli protest on Lavrov's remarks and accused Israel of distorting history and supporting the neo - Nazi regime in Kyiv.

"Foreign Minister Yair Lapid's remarks are contrary to historical truth and explain why Israel supports Kyiv's neo - Nazi regime," they said.
