Despite the deterioration of their health, the two Palestinian prisoners, Khalil Awawda and Raed Rayan, continue their hunger strike to protest the violations of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.

Wafa news agency quoted the Prisoner Club as saying in a statement today that the return of the racket for the 63rd day in the Ramle prison is facing very difficult health conditions, as his body is deteriorating day after day due to severe aches. It is difficult to treat later as part of practices that target captives to break their will.

For his part, the prisoner, Rayan, 27, who has been on hunger strike for the 28th day in Ofer prison, suffers from a continuous deterioration in his health, and the occupation authorities also continue their intransigence and refusal to release him.

Awawda was arrested on the 27th of last December and has previously been arrested several times since 2002. He is married and the father of four daughters. Rayan was arrested on the 3rd of last November, knowing that he previously spent about 21 months in the Israeli occupation prisons.
