Next week should be particularly hot and sunny throughout France. The 25°C mark could be crossed at Pa

It seems that the meteorological adage “in May, do what you please” holds true.

It should, at least, be verified within a few days throughout France.

As Météo France specifies, next week (May 9 to 15) “should be generally warmer and drier than normal” in France, with weather “generally quite sunny”.

In detail, from this Friday, the whole country should be entitled to a sunny or slightly overcast day, with temperatures around 20 ° C on almost all the territory (except in Brittany, in the Landes and in Corsica).

Saturday will be rainy in the northwestern part of France, and on Sunday, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur will be under storms.

From Wednesday, 24 degrees in Paris

But from Monday, the sun will shine over the entire country, with the exception of Nice and Corsica which could experience some stormy showers during the day.

A cloudless sky is also forecast for next Tuesday, with temperatures above 20°C everywhere except in part of Brittany and around Biarritz.

The mercury is expected to rise to 24 in Paris, Bordeaux, Gap and Montélimar.

A sign of a general thaw, temperatures should not drop below 10°C at night.

Wednesday and Thursday, the mercury will rise again, although a northwestern part is likely to be under the clouds.

25°C are expected in a large south-eastern part of France.

The heat is expected to continue - or even increase - on Friday, as well as next weekend.

According to The Weather Channel, 30°C could even be reached.

As this dedicated channel reminds us, the 25°C mark has not yet been crossed in Paris - but should be next week.

Last year, this temperature was reached at the end of March.

The trend could well continue the following week, since Météo France is already forecasting temperatures “generally higher than normal for the season”.
