(CNN Radio Argentina) – Juan Pablo Varsky
,
host of CNN's La Tarde
, made an editorial this Thursday after the elimination
of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City
at the hands of Real Madrid, which took the overall win 6-5 and reached the Champions League final.
"When we talk about something that is repeated frequently, we can talk about anything but chance,"
explained the journalist after City's elimination, while clarifying that
"Guardiola is the most influential coach of the last 30 years."
And he added at the beginning of the program on
CNN Radio
: "A thousand books have been written about Guardiola's football and his Barcelona."
“Many coaches have gone to see him and apply his start from the back of the pitch”, he recalled, and confirmed: “Guardiola's influence is undeniable”.
“Since Guardiola's Barcelona, football has been analyzed in a different way, but Pep
persists in his attempt to capture what cannot be done.
And much more if Real Madrid is on the other side”, he added.
In addition, he said that
“that obsessive game coach who seeks to reduce the margin of chance sees how year after year he loses.
When it comes to the small stuff and the details, he loses a lot more than he wins.”
"And that's why football is so beautiful," he concluded.
