Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said today (Thursday) that "I am the head of a government that for a thousand years I did not imagine it would be an assembly," he said at a ceremony to award certificates to 120 outstanding soldiers at the President's House, in honor of Independence Day.
"I have learned and see that people with very distant opinions of my own are just wonderful, and love the country no less than I do," the prime minister added.
"Everyone wants the good of the country. There are some arguments."

President Herzog said at the event that "we face great challenges, we face great opportunities, and we can do all of these if we remain united. We must act in brotherhood, in outreach, in responsibility."
Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi thanked the soldiers' partners and said that "you will have a quiet partnership, but a full partnership.
There is no uniform for that, but I will be part of the IDF.
"Even though you do not have ranks, for us I will give a very senior rank, a group of excellence," Kochavi added.
"IDF commanders could not have focused on their mission without your backing and partnership, which is part of the protection that the IDF provides to the citizens of the country."
