The Finistère gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses on its Facebook page on Tuesday May 5 after the attempted kidnapping, the day before, of a 16-year-old girl in Guipavas, near Brest.

Monday, May 2, around 9:30 a.m., the young girl was walking on rue du commandant Challes when she was verbally challenged by the passenger of a white van, who invited her to get into the vehicle.
The latter, who is wearing headphones, pretends not to have heard, and the van resumes its journey.
But a few hundred meters further, the small utility vehicle turned around and returned to the height of the teenager, at the level of a tunnel under the national road 12. The driver and the passenger then tried to drag him to force on board.
The young girl is saved
in extremis
by the intervention of a motorist who, witnessing the scene, intervenes and puts the two men to flight.
Slightly injured and shocked, the victim ran away before going to the gendarmerie, where she filed a complaint.

An investigation was opened by the Brest prosecutor's office and entrusted to the gendarmes of Guipavas.
The two individuals, one in their twenties and the other in their forties, are actively sought by investigators.
