Visitors to the Ottenhofen rabbit school donated 1245 euros this year.
The money goes to the Ukraine refugees living in the community.

– The teacher at the rabbit school in Ottenhofen watched the handover of the donation box very carefully.
With good reason: The visitors of the rabbit school had donated 1245 euros for the Ukrainian women and their children accommodated in the village.
The initiator of the bunny school, Josef Greckl, and his faithful helper Mascha Voidel handed over the money to Mayor Nicole Schley on the last day of the bunny school to be passed on directly to the guests from the Ukraine.
She warmly thanked the rabbit school initiators for the "great work and the joy they bring to people around Easter with the rabbit school" and for the donation, which will remain in place this year.
Money is invested in school supplies
Together with a large load of chocolate bunnies, the mayoress was able to bring great joy to the families, especially the children, on the Orthodox Easter celebration a week later.
They will mainly buy school supplies such as pens, exercise books and backpacks.
After that, the rabbits were brought back to their sleeping quarters, where they stayed until they were allowed to please people again.
The motto for next year has already been decided, but of course it will not be revealed yet.
