Emmanuel Macron finally decided.
After more than ten days of negotiations, marked by clashes with former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, the leaders of the presidential majority have reached an agreement in view of the legislative elections on June 12 and 19.

A confederation of pro-Macron parties is to be formalized this Thursday by the President of the National Assembly, Richard Ferrand, the leader of the Democratic Movement (MoDem), François Bayrou, and the president of Horizons, Édouard Philippe, during a conference release at the headquarters of La République en Marche (LREM), in Paris.
An agreement, signed by these three founding members, must specify the conditions for financing the parties.
Several parliamentary groups
Key point of the negotiations, the nominations of the legislative candidates were also attributed.
According to information from

, the MoDem obtains 101 candidates and Horizons 58, out of 577 seats to be filled in the National Assembly.
Edouard Philippe wanted to exceed the bar of 50 constituencies, in order to be able to benefit from public subsidies for his recent party.

Less than a dozen outgoing Republican (LR) deputies will seek their succession under the colors of the majority, following the call to join Emmanuel Macron launched by Nicolas Sarkozy.
Each of the LREM, MoDem and Horizons parties has obtained the guarantee of being able to form a parliamentary group at the Palais-Bourbon.
The hypothesis of a single group was until then supported by relatives of Emmanuel Macron, anxious to avoid any instability during the five-year term.
