Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, announced that the informal meeting of the UN Security Council in the “Arria” format will be devoted to the crimes of the Ukrainian army against civilians.
"Tomorrow we will hold an informal meeting of the Security Council in Arya format devoted to the crimes of the Ukrainian army and paramilitary groups against civilians that we have recorded during our military operation in Ukraine," the Russian TASS news agency quoted Polyansky as saying on Telegram.
"The Russian side will show eyewitness accounts of these crimes and will give the floor to Western journalists," he added.
It is noteworthy that the Arria formula meeting is an informal meeting of the members of the UN Security Council held by a member of the UN Security Council. The meetings allow individuals, organizations and actors to engage in direct dialogue with members of the UN Security Council in a legitimate and confidential framework.
