Queen Elizabeth's jubilee seems to be ill-fated.

Renewed appointment cancellations not only cause headaches for her compatriots.

London – Queen Elizabeth II (96) had to cancel several performances at short notice this year, and even a few weeks before the big celebration of her platinum anniversary, the bad news from the palace didn't want to stop.

Several dates in May have to take place without the regent.

Queen Elizabeth cancels next appearances – throne jubilee in danger?

As the British royal family has now announced, Queen Elizabeth II will miss this year's popular garden parties in May and June.

Three festivals will be held at Buckingham Palace over the coming weeks, culminating in a gathering at Edinburgh's Holyrood Palace on 25 June.

Invited are people who have done a special service for their home country England.

Of course, there will also be a toast to Queen Elizabeth's jubilee in 2022 - but without the jubilee.

Since the traditional garden parties can take place again for the first time after a two-year break caused by corona, many had expected Queen Elizabeth to be there.

The Queen made her last public appearance at Prince Philip's memorial service (99, † 2021) at the end of March.

According to the palace, the 96-year-old will be "represented by other members of the royal family" and who exactly is on the guest list is to be made public at a later date.

In the past, Prince Charles (73), Prince William (39), Kate Middleton (40) & Co. have appeared in the palace garden, so there should be no shortage of royal hosts.

Queen Elizabeth cancels next appearances: Can she travel to London?

Royal fans are concerned about the Queen's cancellation as the multi-day platinum anniversary celebrations draw ever closer.

Hundreds of thousands will flock to London in early June to catch a glimpse of the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth's appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside her family is the absolute highlight for viewers.

The fact that this highlight may have to fall through because the regent cannot travel to London due to mobility problems can no longer be dismissed out of hand.
