The head of the International Relations Committee of the Russian State Duma and a member of the negotiating group with Ukraine, Leonid Slutsky, announced that negotiations with the Ukrainian side are proceeding "in a difficult manner."
Russia Today website quoted Slutsky as saying in a statement today that "Kyiv's representatives are retracting the agreements that have already been reached," stressing that the Russian delegation "is trying to do everything possible not only to support the special military operation, but also in the negotiation process."
A few days ago, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that the United States and Britain were pressuring the authorities of the regime in Ukraine to prolong negotiations with Moscow.
