Cimolai Spa
has been awarded the
contract for the
works
for the construction of lot 2 of
line 17 of the Paris metro
.
The contract, worth 122 million euros, includes the design, manufacture, transport and assembly of the metal structures of the viaducts and of the new station.
The use of 23,000 tons of steel is foreseen;
the works will begin in June 2023. The contract is part of the modernization of the metro, the Grand Paris Express project.
A few days ago another Friulian company,
Icop
, was awarded the works for the third lot of Line 18.
