The president of Reggina Luca Gallo was arrested by the Guardia di Finanza in execution of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Rome.
The alleged crimes against the entrepreneur - who, in addition to being president of the club that plays in Serie B, operates in the sector of support services to businesses for the management and supply of personnel - are self-laundering and failure to pay VAT.
The military of the Gdf economic and financial police unit are carrying out a series of searches and kidnappings.
Gallo was placed under house arrest.
The soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza also implemented a preventive seizure decree, also for equivalent value, of assets for a value of 11,437,340 euros and of the shares of 17 companies.
The precautionary measures were issued by the Judge for the preliminary investigations of the Capitoline Court, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome, in order to prevent the repetition of the crimes.
