Tonight (Thursday), the "Israel Prize" ceremony will be held at the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem.

The award is given this year to ten citizens who have excelled in one of the professions and fields that qualify for the award.

In the field of culture and art, the actor Oded Kotler won for the stage art, theater and dance, and the singer Avihu Medina in the field of Hebrew song.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the website and in the "Israel Today" widget.

Also among the winners: Prof. Yemima Ben Menachem on the study of philosophy and the study of religious sciences.

Prof. Ruth Berman on the study of Hebrew linguistics.

Prof. Shimon Shamir on the study of the Near Eastern sciences, Prof. Joshua Zack on the study of physics and chemistry and Professor Musa know about the study of the life sciences.

The award is also given to Prof. Yoram Felti Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation and to the businessman Izzy Shretzky, the Lifetime Achievement Award for a special contribution to society and the state.

In addition, Marioma Klein from the Shanti Youth Center at Risk will also be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for a special contribution to society and the state.

As every year, the ceremony will include an art show and this year Eliad Nahum, Narkis, Itai Levy and Roni Dalumi will take part.

Among other things, the coup will include a string of salutes to Avihu Medina.

The President, Prime Minister, Speaker of the Knesset, President of the Supreme Court, Minister of Education and Mayor of Jerusalem are also expected to attend.

 "Hatikva" will be sung by Sheri Zak Levy, a relative of Prof. Yehoshua Zak, one of the Israel Prize winners.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Broadcasting Corporation, here 11 and on Network 13.
