With "Rockstars" Malik Harris would like to achieve victory for Germany at the "Eurovision Song Contest" in Turin.
The fact that he will appear in front of an audience of millions does not currently make the 24-year-old nervous.
The ESC candidate knows how to deal with his excitement.
Berlin – The task that Malik Harris (24) faces in Turin on May 14 is not easy: in the “Eurovision Song Contest” (all ESC news at a glance) the “Rockstars” interpreter should after the desolate performances of the past finally bringing as many points as possible back to Germany.
The excitement is not exactly small in view of the international audience of millions - but the 24-year-old knows how to help himself!

Malik Harris is self-confident before "Eurovision Song Contest" – "Personally super relaxed"
Malik Harris could only need a little more than three minutes to write German music history at the 66th "Eurovision Song Contest" (these candidates compete at the ESC) - a hope that is particularly important given the comparatively modest ESC performances of late of the Federal Republic, is not yet fully tangible.
"It's crazy that it's only three minutes at the end," said the 24-year-old on "Volle Kanne" on ZDF, but at the same time explained that he was "personally super relaxed": "I love being on stages to stand.
That's what I like to do most in this world." At the moment he only feels "anticipation" - but in terms of coolness, a lot is likely to change on the evening of May 14th!

"Tell me how cool it is": Malik Harris shares his trick against ESC excitement
Malik Harris is of course aware that he shouldn't be quite so relaxed at the ESC final in Turin: "That would be stupid if not.
Otherwise it's boring," explained the "Rockstars" singer confidently.
However, his confidence is by no means a coincidence, because the "Eurovision Song Contest" candidate (all information about the German ESC star Malik Harris) knows how to help himself with a little trick when he gets nervous.
"What I've got used to and it works quite well: every time it happens, I tell myself how awesome it is. How nice it is that you live a life like this, in which you always have moments where it really kicks you in the stomach
," says the 24-year-old, who even manages to "enjoy his own nervousness ' as he revealed.
Can he do it in Turin?
Malik Harris can rely on experience before the "Eurovision Song Contest" – does the ESC curse hit Germany?
The pop and rap musician from Landsberg am Lech already proved that Malik Harris knows how to impress on the big stage in the preliminary round "Germany 12 Points", where he successfully prevailed against five other acts.
His ESC contribution "Rockstars" should remind you to "find the good old days in the here and now".
Most recently, Germany won the "Eurovision Song Contest" in 2010, when Lena Meyer-Landrut (30) won with "Satellite" in Oslo.
In 2021, on the other hand, things were not going well for the Federal Republic: Candidate Jendrik (27) only got the penultimate place and thus seamlessly continued the mostly poor ESC results of his German predecessors.
"A total of 12 points": This is how German fans rate Malik Harris' chances at ESC 2022
In Germany, too, some fans do not expect Malik Harris to have a very good chance of a German Eurovision victory: the 24-year-old will only score “a total of 12 points” with “Rockstars”, predicted a not exactly confident ESC viewer.
