During the most difficult years of the terrorist war on Syria, not only did the monthly Dar party program remain full, but new activities were launched. The grudges that targeted this institution did not discourage the movement of creativity in it, even though it led to the death and injury of a number of employees, creators and visitors.

During the Corona pandemic, and after the cessation of cultural and musical activities as a result of exceptional health conditions, Dar Al-Assad worked flexibly to keep pace with the technological developments of the era to remain close to its audience. Quarantine remained.

In a statement to SANA, the Director-General of Dar al-Assad, Maestro Andre Maalouli, said that since the first day of the opening of Dar al-Assad, it bears the responsibility of preserving and promoting cultural identity and the taste of the Syrian public, spreading all kinds of arts in various fields, supporting new cultural ideas and presenting different experiences and opinions in its various schools.
