Police officers discovered two snakes in Passau.
One was captured, the second escaped.
Passau - The police in Passau said they "conjured up" a snake - but higher powers were not involved: the animal was harmless and could be caught with your bare hands.

On Thursday, May 5, the officials discovered two snakes of 1.5 and 2 meters in length at the central bus station.
The police announced on Friday.
A policeman was able to catch one of the snakes, the second escaped.

Despite its size, the Aesculapius snake, a native species of snake, poses no danger - it is non-toxic.
The police could not say where they came from.
