The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Ukrainian forces and their Nazi formations, under the guidance of the United States and Britain, were preparing provocations by detonating chemical tanks to detonate them in the Donbass region, accusing the Russian forces of doing so.
"Ukrainian forces and the Nazis loyal to them have set up fortified areas in chemical industry enterprises in Donbass to prepare provocations under the direction of their sponsors in the United States and Britain," TASS news agency quoted the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mizintsev, as saying.
"At the sites of the Azot company in the city of Severodonetsk in the Lugansk People's Republic, the Ukrainian Nazi battalions deployed heavy weapons, holding more than a thousand factory workers and civilians as human shields. At the same time, the Nazis systematically bombed the towns of Pervomaisk, Stakhanov and Kalinov to provoke the Russian forces to respond with the aim of making accusations," Mizntsev added. The Russian army is killing civilians and causing a catastrophe.”
Mizntsev noted that "the Nazis equipped containers with chemically dangerous substances to detonate them immediately in the event that they were forced to abandon their positions," noting also that "the Ukrainian security service in the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions is planning provocations with the use of chemical weapons and accusing the Russian forces."
Mizntsev warned Western countries, the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons against these provocations, noting that "Kyiv plans to widely promote these provocations through Western media and various Internet sites."
In a related context, the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center indicated that the Nazis in Kharkov gathered residents of areas where they are active and used them as “human shields” against the Russian army.
"Today in the Kharkov region, specifically in the village of Tserkony, the Nazis, under the threat of physical violence, gathered the residents and moved them to the south of the village of Borsheva, where the Nazi formations are holed up behind the civilians," Mizntsev said, adding: "They advanced towards the line of contact in the direction of the Russian forces, which prompted them to open fire at them." .
He continued, "As a result of the shooting, the militants were defeated and some of them were eliminated, while the rest fled and no civilians were injured."
"Such practices of Ukrainian militants completely reproduced the tactics of the Nazis during the Second World War and once again testify to the inhumane attitude of the Kyiv regime towards its people and its complete disregard for the rules of morality and international humanitarian law," Mizntsev stated.
