There was a bloody murder in Sau Mau Ping.
At about 9:00 p.m. on May 5, the authorities received a report that a father and son surnamed Wen had a dispute in their apartment in Xiuyi Building, Xiu Mau Ping Village. During the period, the 27-year-old son was suspected of being cut by his 58-year-old father with a kitchen knife.
Police officers and an ambulance rushed to the scene. After investigation, the police officers arrested the father involved in the case; while the son suffered a hand injury and was consciously sent to United Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
It is understood that the suspected son had not obtained the consent of his father earlier and discarded some furniture without authorization, which made the father angry and wounded his son with a knife.
The police said that the two father and son had a dispute over trivial matters in the above-mentioned unit. A 58-year-old man surnamed Wen was arrested on suspicion of "injuring people"; his 27-year-old son was sent to the hospital for treatment, and the case was handed over to the Sau Mau Ping Police District Criminal Investigation Team to follow up.
