This evening, the Martyrs' Garden in Mashta Al-Helou was opened in the Tartous governorate, which was equipped in cooperation and coordination between the Family Cultural Forum and the municipality of Mashta Al-Helou and the people, as a token of loyalty to the sacrifices of the homeland's martyrs from the heroic sons of the region who answered the call and sacrificed their lives for the generosity of their dear homeland.
The head of the Mashta al-Hilu municipal council, lawyer Joseph Eid, told SANA reporter that the opening of the Martyrs’ Park in the area is an expression of honor and reverence for the souls of the martyrs, pointing out that the municipal council contributed to rehabilitating the entrance to Mount Mashta al-Helou and providing all assistance and assistance in completing this work to be a new landmark that adds an aesthetic value. for the region.
The supervisor of the Family Cultural Forum, lawyer Wael Sabbagh, pointed out that the opening of the park is a local civil initiative to remember the martyrs, as they remain and immortal in every place and time, and that their families are walking on the path that I drew and lit up by their pure blood.
Sabbagh pointed out that pine trees were planted in the garden and named after the area's martyrs, in addition to planting roses and distributing seats, and a sculpture by sculptor Hussein Deeb, indicating hope, renewal and adherence to life, in addition to placing columns and traditional wooden beacons in the place that were donated by the people.
In turn, a number of the people of the region and the families of the martyrs expressed their happiness and pride in this initiative, which confirms that the Syrians have always been and will remain one hand to rebuild what terrorism destroyed with cooperation, love and commitment to the approach of martyrdom and martyrs.
