A shooting was carried out last night (Saturday) at a bus in Rahat that was about to leave for a trip.
A young man was arrested on suspicion of committing the act.

Police officers, who arrived at the scene after reporting the shooting in Neighborhood 21, opened an investigation.
There were no casualties and the trip set off.
The suspect is a 26-year-old resident of Rahat.

This is another event in the chain of violent incidents in the Negev in general and Rahat in particular.
Last month, after additional shooting incidents - including documentation of shooting at daylight businesses - Commissioner Kobi Shabtai also arrived in the city to conduct a close assessment of the situation.
